Oh my goodness ! How cool is it that I would find a cammie frog!!! Smiles.  This is actually a National Geographic image. This is a Amazon Horned Frog.

This is actually image number five on Google Images. Image number Four for Frogs was about the morphology of frogs and neither the image would pop up or a website attached. I am not going to even post it because I have no original place of where it came from to credit the site.  This is a cute frog though.  It came from a sales website with an article labeled  “ Time to Eat the Frog not the Turkey “.

This is actually a water color by a really awesome artist Gina Mikel. This is a Leopard Frog. I had no idea there was such a frog but I never thought I would find a cammie frog either. Pretty cool what you find. Go to her website… lots of great things to find there!

Well, I am off to do the trudgery of homework. It isn’t that I am tired of homework , It is I am striking so close to a goal that I want that I can feel it and yet I am still swimming to shore and slowly drowning.

I went to an interview that was less than desirable. It wasn’t the job that was, it was the interviewee that was. I was even dressed professionally. It is just one of those things. I have filled out a couple more applications. *crosses fingers*. Until then, I continue on trudging through the mud of school work. Some of it interesting and some of it needing more milk on my cornflakes.

Josie was so funny last night. She woke up and asked me to bring her a newspaper. I asked her what for and she said she needed to find out what year it was. When I asked why she replied, ” Because I can’t find Al,” and I just stared at my little girl smiling when she said, ” Oh boy, ” and crashed.  Hmmm.. Starting to wonder if Quantum Leap is a good idea before bed? LOL. What is funny, is we weren’t even watching that last night we were watching Drop Dead Diva. It is actually pretty good. I thought it would be lame and never attempted to watch it. Josie really wanted to so we did. Now she is hooked and I am sort of.  I still have my doubts about the show but you know how that goes.
Since, I am here I might as well type in ” Mental ” in Etsy.com and pick five things I like and post them here! ( free advertising for the shop owners! lol)

I love it when Shop owners as some whimsy. This is by Karen Daugherty.  I added her to my list of favorites as well. You should go look at some of her other things.

This is an original painting by Canadian Artist Jody Coughlin. I was instantly drawn to her other works of art . She is quite talented. She has some interesting pieces of Birth Art as well. I know a few mothers (and mothers to be) who wouldn’t mind having some of her work. I favorited her today as well.

Who wouldn’t want brains on their finger? Huh? HUH? Well, I actually think this is awesome! I am a big fan of zombies (and vampires, werewolves, aliens, time traveling,etc).  A little thing to think about quoted directly off the page, ” The perfect Valentine”s day gift for the glamour ghoul or brain surgeon in your life!”  It is so unique I really like it. This is by Glo and they have a lot more brains where this came from!

Oh no, Pauline is doing another church/religious-type thing. Well, yes, I am . As you know I am known to read things that are beyond my scope of likes . I try to reach beyond my comfort zone sometimes and when I am offered a free book to read and review then I just go for it. This book definitely took me out of my comfort zone. The only thing I appreciated about it is the whole references of how Churches became and the historical viewpoints of such.

I was given this book to review some time ago and I had a few things happen and moving is one of them.

Shannon, the author, is basically teaching you how to grow a church in a smaller community. The whole thought process of doing such is a grueling and tired one but he sticks with his guns and hops on board his vision and his focus in his faith in God and keeps on going.

What I didn’t really like was how he referenced the fact that youth ministers had to be youthful pretty much and that is the reason for a need for an assistant. He said that God called to him but not really how he did. Would ” GOD” tell him to get a more younger person anyhow? Why can’t a wise older person teach youth ministries? This sort of bothered me.

I appreciated reading about their faith and his faith in his God and how he felt it was compelling him to the place where he is today. I believe this is the only book he has written and I am sure that I won’t be reading anymore. For one, the authors work lacked something for me. Maybe it was the whole fact it was religious based. Maybe it was the fact it was dry cornflakes that needed more milk and maybe a dash of sugar. Maybe it was the fact that it was uninteresting and boring and more of a memoir to his vision and his work and his dreams then anything else. Maybe I am just not interested in churches.

It is up to you though to read it and figure it for yourself. I will tell you that on Amazon.com you can pick it up for less that $5.00 used right now. I was given a copy for a review through Booksneeze. Com.

This is a compelling story about Richard Kelly who is the first black to break a color barrier of an all white seminary in the 1960′s.  It was a little hard to watch with the Christian -based content of the movie for me , only because I don’t like to be preached to. I did , however, enjoy the cast of characters and how they brought you into the film and made you feel as if you were there.

This man faces so many obstacles and has to prove his innocence or show his guilt ( I will not tell you which- SPOILER). It is a very compelling movie that even though it has a lot of religious empathy it was deeply profounding to me and I thoroughly enjoyed it.

It stars Cedric Sanders from Law & Order : Criminal Intent, Lauren Holly from The Final Storm and Mark Young from Star Trek Enterprise.

I highly recommend this movie to anyone especially for some of the historical references in this film.

My family is moving to Mesquite, Texas in the fall. Not knowing a lot about Mesquite, I decided to start looking on the internet to find out as much as I can before we actually get there. I really did not want to move there one day and have to sit around wondering what to do next. I am the kind of person who plans ahead for everything. My husband will start working as soon as we move so I won’t get much help from him in setting our household up. He is a doctor that will work in the local hospital, and he usually has to work many hours a week and does not get much time at home. He relies on me heavily to get everything set up and get our household running in good fashion so our kids don’t feel a bigger effect from the move. When I was looking for utilities online I googled Mesquite Texas Electricity rates. I got a lot of information about electricity rates and figured out what we needed at our new house. Everything else seems to be falling into place. I have a good feeling about this move.

It is a website for those people trying to locate a rental home in Edmonton. Edmonton is a city located in Canada. A lot of people go there for vacations or visiting family members and friends. I would love to actually visit Edmonton myself it looks like a lovely place to visit.

Some of the attractions you may not know is there is the Snow Queen’s Castle,  lots of awesome recreational centers, a few gorgeous parks and valleys, the Muttart Conservatory, the Edmonton Valley Zoo and the John Jazen Nature Center. There are lots of wonderful places to visit when you go to Edmonton and now you can find a convenient and affordable rental home on top of it.

When you go to the website hover your mouse over the blue box on the right that gives you all the locations inside of Edmonton you may be searching for. I clicked on ” Central” which was the first link there. Right away it pops up with listings for all sorts of affordable rental homes!

You can even narrow your search by arrowing down in the boxes provided for what it is you are looking for. I clicked on For Rent/ Apartments and Condos and got 320 properties alone! That is awesome.

I just had a really awesome conversation with the head of transportation for the school buses. Very nice woman. I am really glad I was finally able to reach her and voice my opinions on the matters at hand. She said that the woman the other day was a sub and yes, she is supposed to do the route that was handed to her and not whatever she wanted to do herself.

That is awesome!

She is filing a complaint and everything. She even apologized for not getting ahold of me and told me that yes, she got a odd busy tone trying to get me back. That is just weird but she apologized and that is awesome.

Great start to the morning so far!  The kids didn’t wait thirty minutes for a bus . I now know the exact time of pick up and drop off as it is supposed to be no sooner or later. Now, for some coffee.

Who can resist that right?

I went and so there it goes , I found an awesome doctor. There is a reason for everything!

I have yet to find a doctor for myself since moving to Kentucky. I found one for the kid and with a little bit of a heart murmur concern we were off and finding a great doctor for her. I found the most wonderful pediatrics doctor ever! They were so caring that they even got her a cardiolgist appointment like immediately.  To make a long story short, she is fine, it is a benign murmur and we are all good.

Going back to me. I have an Urgent Care place here where I live. I decided to check it out instead of going to the E.R. Came out that was the best choice ever. I have had some really bad experiences with doctors. I found the most awesome doctor who is funny, caring and even says her name is ” The Great”… and she may just be right. I can’t believe I stumbled upon someone like this. It was a miracle.

Anyhow, They tried to get blood from my veins it never happened correctly. The poked my arm that actually showed a vein ( I have odd veins) and blood came out, it was hurting and I was sweating, but it was coming and then all of a sudden like someone turned the valve it stopped! There wasn’t enough in the container. They looked at my other arm and I told them to try my hand because that usually works. All that really happened was a bunch of blood spurted out of my hand and I wound up with a nice bruise the next day.

I had to drink like a ton of water to get a urine sample to them. I am so glad these people are patient. I was so dehydrated that nothing seemed to work.

Anyhow, They fixed me right up . I had to get medicines like three times at Walgreens…lol… but I am on my way to being better… I hope.

SO, getting back to my paper that is now due in exactly 9 minutes.

I am sitting here watching the little circle go around and around and around slowly after I clicked Submit. I have now tried it a number of times in the last hour and I am quite tired. As I said, I have been really sick and would have done it earlier but I had some things to finish on it, I couldn’t concentrate and all I really wanted to do was sleep. I think I barely ate in three days much less worry about a project due.

I did do a lot of research though. I found some books that told me about the life of a Police Officer that was made for children and that was awesome. I even used some of that material. I even mentioned that in my report.

…. And, It still goes in circles…. So , Now, I write my instructor appologizing and begging forgiveness and having some kind of understanding to my matter and that it isn’t an excuse but really has happened to me this last week. I feel like furnishing him with a complete synopsis of my health report including all the scripts I am on that are making me drowsy and my pee turn funny colors that really gave me a scare the other day let me tell you.

Circles , Circles… good grief… come on, I am tired! I want to go to bed! Stop going in circles!!!!

I have had an insomnia problem to. I have gotten like 2 maybe 3 hours of sleep in the last few years since my surgery. I don’t know if that is because of stress, because something changed in my body, or what.

Circles…. Circles….. SUBMIT ALREADY!!!!

But, I don’t really sleep. I try to sleep but it don’t work. I mentioned this to her and she gave me some medicines for it. I would try it and take one now but the darn paper isn’t submitting and I really don’t want to fall asleep drool coming off my chin on the keyboard.

SUBMIT!!! PLEASE!!! FOR ME!!!!!!!!!!!!

No, I am not an impatient person in the least bit… and my pee is not a bright orange color and my mouth isn’t really that dry and my head really isn’t that full of snot and feels like a tight vice is squeezing my brains out my ears……….

No, I am not the least bit cynical what so ever either.

Sigh…

Submit…come on baby, you can do it, just submit!!! Stop going in circles….

What is worse is that at 9 p.m upon pulling up my paper to begin with there was a bunch of dots all the way down the paper and scrolly-looking things that weren’t there before and when trying to get rid of them I got rid of the entire paper and even though I had saved it I couldn’t for the life of me pull it back up even though I tried a number of things. Maybe it was the fact I am groggy and tired and stressed that I couldn’t do it but nothing worked. Then, When I got it up and fixed things and re-wrote some stuff and spell-checked and saved. I pulled it back up because I discovered my Citations weren’t on there and I had to type that up.

Then, at 10 p.m I am spending time hitting Control Z trying desperately to get my paper to reappear because magically it dispappeared. At this point I was hoping I was hallucinating on all the medicines I was on that this wasn’t really happening and I wasn’t Alice falling through a hole.

….. Well, it is now 1 minute after midnight and it still circles……

I am doomed.

Doomed, I tell you!!!!!!

Just wrote a e-mail to the instructor telling him I am working on it basically.

Omg Omg guess what it submitted!!! Sleeping pill here I come!!!!!!!  I am , however, not taking the cough syrup with codeine or I probably will never wake up …. again. I will let you know my sleeping pill experience though. I bet I will be up in two hours…. yup, I see it now, wide awake. Sigh
